Manager, Accounting and Financial Advisory Services
About the role
For our client, we are seeking a Manager, Accounting and Financial Advisory Services to join the team of a leader in the Legal & Accounting space. This role will lead client engagements focused on GAAP advisory and financial accounting support, with an emphasis on delivering practical guidance to middle-market organizations. The manager will partner closely with senior leadership and executive stakeholders to drive high-quality service, strengthen client relationships, and support engagement execution. In addition, this position will help coach junior team members and contribute to broader team development and recruiting efforts.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available. Compensation: $124,910 – $236,800 annually.
Responsibilities
- Lead projects in GAAP advisory and financial accounting advisory services
- Supervise and mentor junior staff on engagement activities
- Engage with senior managers and partners for client management
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships
- Communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including executive management
- Assist with recruiting efforts and employee referral programs
Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in audit or financial advisory within a large accounting firm
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation
- Proficiency in financial analysis tools and software; familiarity with Power BI or Tableau is a plus
- Current knowledge of GAAP advisory practices
- Experience with middle-market financial applications like QuickBooks, NetSuite, or IntAcct
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
