Duties

Works under the direction of the Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation Operations Chief. Performs a variety of administrative support duties to assist with the administration of the personnel services branch.

  • Prepares and tracks NAF (Nonappropriated Fund) all civilian personnel actions in an automated system for accuracy prior to sending them to the HR personnel office.
  • Maintains enterprise-wide strength level data.
  • Reviews and screens Request for Personnel Actions (RPA) for elements that affect the organization structure or staffing levels.
  • Tracks and monitors employees requesting leave without pay.
  • Receives all award requests and nominations.
  • Reviews all awards to ensure compliance with organizations civilian award policy.
  • Applies payroll regulations and guidance as required.
  • Ensures appropriate action is taken in time and attendance automated system, reports and coordinates benefit payments with the financial management branch, ensures applicable personnel action(s) are submitted by management.

Requirements

  • Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
  • Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
  • A one-year probationary period may be required.
  • Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
  • Satisfactory completion of pre-employment background checks in accordance with AR 215-3, 2-13, i. to include a Tier 1 or higher investigation if required depending on location.

Qualifications

  • Resumes must be two pages (or less).
  • Must have work experience demonstrating knowledge related to duties described above.
  • Must have excellent working knowledge of automation.
  • Must know how to prepare and manage reports.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and Power Point and experience in Microsoft Office software.

Highly Preferred

  • Experience working with a personnel database/system, Blue Force (or comparable timekeeping system), and OLRV (Online Reports View) or equivalent.
  • Experience working with manning document/TDAs (Table of distribution and allowances).

This position does not have an education qualification requirement.
