Mammography Technologist (PRN)

We are seeking a Mammography Technologist to provide high-quality, safe imaging in a collaborative healthcare environment. Responsibilities include: performing mammography exams, reviewing image quality, ensuring patient comfort and safety, operating equipment per protocols, maintaining documentation in PACS/RIS, and supporting quality control tests.Assist with patient history, explain procedures, and address questions to reduce anxiety.Ensure confidentiality, maintain equipment, and follow infection control standards.Participate in team training, communicate professionally, and adapt to a fast-paced setting. Qualifications Required High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.At least 1 year of radiologic technologist experience, including mammography in a hospital setting.Certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-M (Mammography), and BLS from the American Heart Association. Skills & Traits: strong knowledge of anatomy, pathology, radiation safety, and mammography best practices; attention to detail; effective communication; and teamwork skills.
