Role Overview

The Mammography Technologist performs mammography examinations based on physicians' orders, using advanced equipment to capture high-quality images while considering patient-specific needs. This role requires applying knowledge of imaging techniques, patient treatment, and imaging factors to ensure optimal results.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct mammography exams accurately following medical directives.
• Utilize sophisticated mammography equipment to produce optimal images.
• Assess individual patient needs, including age-related considerations.
• Apply clinical judgment to imaging techniques and patient care.

Qualifications & Skills

• Meet certification, licensing, or registration standards.
• Hold an Oregon Radiographer License and BLS certification upon hire.
• Be a Registered Technologist in Radiography and Mammography within six months.
• Demonstrate knowledge of imaging procedures and patient care.

Pay

Compensation ranges from $44.12 to $68.50 per hour, potentially supplemented by shift differentials, overtime, or bonuses.
