Mammography Technologist - Per Diem

About the role

We are seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform mammography examinations using advanced imaging equipment, tailored to individual patient needs. The role involves applying clinical judgment to optimize image quality while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Responsibilities

• Executing mammography procedures based on physicians' orders.
• Utilizing sophisticated equipment and adjusting techniques for special or age-related needs.
• Maintaining accurate imaging records and ensuring quality standards.
• Providing patient care and support throughout the imaging process.

Qualifications

• Relevant education meeting certification, licensing, or registration requirements.
• Oregon Radiographer License and National Registered Technologist - Radiography.
• Within 6 months of hire, obtain National Registered Technologist - Mammography.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent patient communication.

Pay

Base pay range from $44.12 to $68.50 per hour, with potential additional compensation for incentives and overtime.

Schedule

Part-time position with multiple shifts available.
