Mammography Technologist Part Time Days

Part-time, day shift position located at Care Center Southgate.

Scope of Work

Under the designated site leader and according to established policies and procedures, performs accurate and efficient Mammography exams using appropriate imaging equipment, independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative. Technologists must demonstrate strong clinical skills and provide the best possible images for interpretation while adhering to Corewell Health’s philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care.

Qualifications

• Required associate’s degree
• Graduate of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) Accredited Radiography program
• 1 year of relevant experience
• 1-3 years’ experience beyond staff radiographer level
• CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologist) – upon hire
• CRT-Mammography (M) - ARRT – required within 1 year
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA (American Heart Association) – upon hire or CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC (American Red Cross) – upon hire
