About the role
We are seeking a Mammography Technologist to provide high-quality diagnostic mammography services in accordance with physician orders and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform mammography imaging, positioning patients, developing films, and evaluating image quality.
- Provide patient education, address concerns, and ensure patient comfort across all age groups.
- Accurately input patient information into computer systems and maintain confidentiality.
- Ensure radiation safety, perform equipment checks, and adhere to regulatory standards like MQSA/ACR.
- Maintain a clean and organized radiology room, participate in quality assurance, and respond to contrast reactions and emergencies.
- Collaborate with team members, rotate shifts, and participate in safety and infection control policies.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Certified Radiologic Technologist (Washington) and Basic Life Support certification.
- State of Washington Mammography Technologist certification and ARRT-M registration or relevant training with experience.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
Qualifications
Preferred: One year of mammography experience.
