Responsibilities

  • Guide patients through routine annual screenings, answering questions and easing anxiety.
  • Work up diagnostic exams alongside specialist radiologists, ensuring optimal imaging for accurate interpretations.
  • Support patients who are nervous about callbacks, providing calm and confident presence.
  • Collaborate with a team of technologists, medical assistants, and radiologists to foster professional growth and success.
  • Perform 3D screening and diagnostic mammography, breast ultrasound, MRI, DEXA, and image-guided biopsy, often moving from screening to diagnosis within 24 hours.

Requirements

  • ARRT(R)(M) registered — mammography certification required.
  • ACR-standard positioning skills, practiced and refined.
  • At least 1 year of mammography experience preferred, but open to motivated new graduates with strong clinical skills.
  • Comfortable with both screening and diagnostic workups, excelling in these areas.
  • A communicator skilled in interacting with patients, radiologists, and the team.

Qualifications

  • Experience in mammography, including routine screenings and diagnostic workups.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and precision in positioning and imaging.

Pay

$45 - $59 / hour based on experience, plus up to $5,000 sign-on or relocation bonus.

Schedule & Locations

  • Primary location: Cherry Creek / Denver (3773 Cherry Creek North Drive)
  • Satellite locations: Westminster and Lakewood
  • Part-time: Available on Monday, Thursday, and/or Friday. Occasional weekend availability.
  • Full-time: Monday-Friday outpatient schedule. No evenings, no after hours, and no weekends required.

Routine screening is the backbone of what we do, requiring developed skill. Diagnostic workups, however, require your expertise to shape patients' experiences and ensure their return. There's room to grow through learning image-guided biopsy, DEXA, or supporting Quality Control measures. We're paying attention to what you can do.
