About the role
Mammography Technologist position available at Medlock Medical Imaging in Atlanta, GA 30342.
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography examinations in accordance with physician orders and established imaging protocols.
- Prepare, position, and educate patients while ensuring comfort, safety, and privacy throughout procedures.
- Operate and maintain mammography equipment, performing routine quality control to ensure optimal image quality.
- Auxiliary work with radiologists on breast imaging procedures as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient documentation in the Cerner electronic medical record.
- Comply with radiation safety, infection prevention, and quality assurance standards.
- Collaborate with radiologists and the multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional outpatient imaging services.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Mammography experience within the specialty.
- Required Certifications: AHA BLS, ARRRT Mammography Certification.
- Experience with Cerner EMR preferred.
Qualifications
- No local candidates within 50 miles of the facility.
Skills
- Proficiency in mammography techniques.
- Knowledge of Cerner EMR.

Schedule
Days | Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM | 40 hours/week (5x8-hour shifts)
