Mammography Technologist

About the role

The Mammography Technologist is responsible for providing Digital Mammography and Radiology procedures to adult and geriatric populations at HCA Florida Mercy Hospital.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality Digital Mammography and Radiology procedures to patients.
• Care for the well-being of patients by maintaining a professional and compassionate demeanor.
• Ensure compliance with specific guidelines of practice.
• Adhere to infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.

Requirements

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• Registered Radiographer (ARRT) or State Registered Radiologic Technologist certification.
• A minimum Associate Degree.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and colleagues.
• Attention to detail and ability to perform tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Knowledge of digital mammography techniques and equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
