About the role
We are seeking an experienced Mammography Technologist to perform specialized breast examinations in an outpatient healthcare setting.
Responsibilities
- Conduct diagnostic and screening mammograms
- Perform stereotactic biopsies
- Utilize advanced equipment like Hologic Dimensions
- Perform outpatient mammography exams
- Ensure patient safety
- Maintain equipment standards
Requirements
- ARRT Mammography (M) certification
- Minimum 3 years of Mammography experience
- BLS certification
- NYS Radiologic Technologist License with Injection
- Mammography specialty training (ARRT-MG)
Skills
- Proficiency in diagnostic procedures
- Ability to work independently
- Familiarity with mammography equipment
DEXA experience is a plus.
