Role
Mammography Technologist, a technical allied imaging professional, collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality imaging services including ultrasound, CT, PET, interventional radiology, digital mammography, and nuclear medicine.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality mammography procedures and assist radiologists with special procedures for early breast abnormality detection.
- Maintain clear communication, build collaborative relationships, and promote a positive patient experience.
- Take accountability for performance, seek professional growth, and contribute to team success.
Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate from an approved Radiologic Technologist Program meeting MQSA guidelines.
- Current Basic Life Support certification.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification—either ARRT (M) or ARRT (R) with a requirement to obtain ARRT (M) within one year.
- Texas Department of State Health certification.
- Preferred: 1 year work experience.
