Mammography Tech (PRN)

About the Role

MedQuest Associates, a trusted partner of Novant Health Systems, is seeking dynamic individuals to join our innovative team. We're a premier manager of outpatient diagnostic imaging facilities, including 9 breast centers, dedicated to our team members' growth and development through our internal multi-modality training program.

Responsibilities

• Integrate scientific knowledge and technical skills with effective patient interaction to provide quality patient care and useful diagnostic information
• Complete scans effectively and efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of patient care possible in order to provide the most remarkable patient experience

Qualifications

Education

• Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program
• Certification in Mammography: ARRT registered and Mammography registry
• Completed required CEU's in a timely manner to ensure Certification remains active
• Active state licensure, where applicable

Prior Experience

• 0 years of experience as a Mammography Technologist

Special Qualifications

• Compassionate bedside manner and strong communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Familiarity with Epic electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Continuing education in diagnostic mammography and related fields
