Mammography Tech - Part Time

Description

Provides skills and knowledge necessary to perform mammography procedures and clinical breast examinations in the diagnostic and/or screening mammography areas of Medical Imaging in Idaho only. Maintains patient and procedure documentation. Maintains equipment and instrument knowledge pertinent to high-quality exams. Provides effective internal and external patient communication consistent with age and mental capacity.

Requirements

• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required.
• Must obtain Mammography registry through ARRT within 1 year of hire.
• Three to five years of radiology experience required. Previous mammography experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC, or the Military Training Network is required at hire unless currently certified in ACLS and/or PALS or as defined in the SAHS Certification Crosswalk.
• Must have active driving privileges. If, during the course of employment, driving privileges change or colleague receives a driving citation, the colleague is required to notify their supervisor and/or HR.
