Mammography Tech - Full Time First Shift

About the role

Valley Health is seeking an experienced Mammography Technologist who is passionate about women's imaging and committed to providing an exceptional patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures in accordance with ARRT and MQSA standards.
• Ensure image quality while maintaining patient comfort, dignity, and safety.
• Educate and support patients throughout the imaging process with empathy and professionalism.
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to provide timely, accurate diagnostic information.
• Participate in quality assurance and maintain compliance with accreditation and regulatory requirements.
• Absorb and assist with general radiology procedures as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT Registered (R).
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to provide care to patients across all age groups.
• Preferred: ARRT Mammography Certification (M).
• Previous mammography experience in a hospital, outpatient, or breast imaging center.
• Experience with both screening and diagnostic mammography.
