Responsibilities

• Performs mammographic procedures on women and men following established protocols.
• Carries out bone densitometry studies.
• Safeguards quality radiographs and adheres to radiation protection standards.
• Participates in the department’s continuous quality improvement process.
• Maintains customer satisfaction and ensures appropriate care for all assigned patients.

Requirements

• High School, GED, or equivalent.
• ARRT Registered Technologist - Mammography certification.
• Certified Radiologic Technologist certification.
• Basic Life Support certification.
• Graduate of an approved AMA Council of Education program in Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT Registered Technologist - Radiography registration.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an approved AMA Council of Education program in Radiologic Technology.
• Registration: ARRT in Radiologic Technology and ARRT in Mammography.
