Mammo Technologist - Per Diem

Responsibilities

• Maintains accountability for proper documentation of exams and related procedures utilizing the RIS/PACS and inpatient charts as necessary.
• Performs screening, diagnostic, and/or assists in performing mammographic procedures.
• Monitors image quality on a continuous basis to ensure that all image quality is within alignment with the ACR quality standards.
• Maintains equipment for proper performance and functionality.
• Performs daily and periodic Mammography QA activities under the direct supervision of the Mammo QA technologist.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Two-year college degree in Radiologic Technologist in Applied Science or equivalent.
• NYS license in Radiologic Technology OR must hold a NYS permit and obtain licensure within six months of employment.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certification (ARRT-R) required within six months of employment.

Qualifications

• Prior Radiologic Technologist experience.
• ARRT-M Advanced Mammography Certification.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and ability to work with various software applications.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.

Schedule

Per Diem; Monday-Friday, Variable Hours, Rotating Day Shifts, Rotating Weekends
