About the role
You will work with the radiologist team to prepare equipment and produce clinical diagnostic images. The Mammography Tech performs diagnostic and interventional breast procedures following established procedures.
Responsibilities
- Prepare mammography equipment for use
- Produce high-quality clinical diagnostic images of the breast
- Perform both diagnostic and interventional breast procedures according to established protocols
Requirements
- Certification from an accredited mammography program
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including patience, empathy, and compassion
- Effective communication skills: active listening, writing, speaking, and reading comprehension
- Fast and adaptive problem-solving abilities
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
Pay
Estimated gross weekly pay: $2,518
