About the role
As a Mammography Tech, you will work with the radiologist team to prepare equipment and produce clinical diagnostic images. You will also perform diagnostic and interventional breast procedures following established procedures.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and operate mammography equipment to produce diagnostic images
- Perform diagnostic and interventional breast procedures according to established protocols
Qualifications
- Certification from an accredited program
- Excellent interpersonal skills including patience, empathy, and compassion
- Effective communication skills, including active listening, writing, speaking, and reading comprehension
- Fast and adaptive problem-solving abilities
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
