Responsibilities
- Performs specialized examinations of the breast to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease.
- Operates mammographic radiographic equipment and other relevant devices.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
- No prior experience required.
- One year experience as a Mammography Technologist preferred.
- Preferred licenses and certifications:
- (R) ARDMS or ARRT - Radiographer
- (R) - ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist in Radiography
- (M) ARDMS or ARRT - Mammography
- (M) - ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist in Mammography
- BCLS - Basic Life Support
