About the role

Under minimal supervision, performs basic to complex diagnostic radiographic procedures, as requested by a licensed physician. Exercises professional judgment in providing health care services, applying x-ray energy, to assist in diagnosis or treatment of patients in all age groups from newborn to elderly. Is multi-skilled in the additional area of mammography. Will also perform procedures in Bone Density. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
• Preferred Education: Associate's Degree
• Minimum Experience: 2-5 years in diagnostic and mammography radiography
• Required Certifications/Licensure: Possession of current Texas Medical Board (TMB) license; Possession of American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, in Radiography and Mammography
• Required Courses/Completions: Must have active healthcare provider Basic Life Support on hire (ARC or AHA); however, must have AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire
