Responsibilities
- Perform specialized breast imaging procedures
- Review exam requisitions
- Operate mammographic equipment
- Ensure image quality
- Follow protocols and maintain accurate records
- Position patients and select appropriate techniques
- Evaluate images for diagnostic quality
- Provide patient support
- Adhere to regulatory standards
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- ARRT certification in Radiography and Mammography
- BLS certification
Work experience: None required; 1 year preferred.
