About the role

Responsibilities

• Use industry-standard static and dynamic analysis tools, including disassemblers, debuggers, virtual machines, and hex editors.
• Develop and reverse engineer Windows API targets.
• Identify and classify malware families based on standard taxonomy and attack methodologies for Windows and Linux.
• Analyze and exploit vulnerabilities using methodologies like fuzzing, shellcode, and memory corruption.
• Read and interpret shellcode, packed or obfuscated code, and network traffic using tools like Wireshark.
• Contribute to offensive cyber operations that enhance national security.

Requirements

• Experience with Python or JavaScript.
• Understanding of operating systems, application behaviors, and network traffic analysis.
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or Master's degree with 3+ years of experience in malware reverse engineering.
• Experience with C/C++, C#, Go, Java, JavaScript, Python, or Rust.
• GREM Certification, OSED, or OSEE Certification.

Pay

The projected compensation range for this position is $86,900.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD).

Schedule

Full-time and part-time employees working at least 20 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in Booz Allen’s benefit programs. Individuals that do not meet the threshold are only eligible for select offerings, not inclusive of health benefits.
