Responsibilities

• Adhere to all standard policies and procedures, performing all guest activities in a cordial, efficient, and professional manner while maintaining a commitment to guest satisfaction.
• Maintain a cooperative, team-like attitude with management and fellow associates to maximize guest satisfaction and profit margins.
• Report to work on time in a properly cleaned and pressed uniform, ensuring impeccable hygiene due to close proximity with clients (no cigarette smoke on hands, hair, clothes, or breath during shifts).
• Address guest needs by ensuring supplies are available and facilities are kept clean, safe, and in optimal condition at all times.
• Monitor guests to ensure their safety, demonstrating proper use of facilities and preventing overuse (e.g., steam room, whirlpool, sauna).
• Monitor whirlpool and steam room, notifying management when facilities require servicing.
• Report and document any observed or known safety hazards, conditions, or unsafe practices to management immediately.
• Perform opening and closing duties in the locker area, maintaining tidiness and a crisp appearance in all spa areas.
• Refer guest problems or complaints to management.
• Distribute linens to necessary areas of the spa and ensure soiled laundry is available for processing.
• Assist other Omni departments as needed.
• Attend all training sessions to learn new techniques and maintain job performance standards.
• Clock in and out at every shift and report any maintenance problems to the proper authority.
• Promote spa, hotel, and club services while maintaining client and spa business confidentiality at all times.
• Perform other job-related duties as directed.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must speak fluent English.
• Must be able to perform a variety of responsibilities, including guest service, cleaning, and maintenance of the locker room.
• Must be alert to safety hazards to ensure guest safety and smooth operation of the locker room.
• Must be able to deal with people in a professional manner under pressure.
• Must be flexible in work scheduling, including weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to perform some strenuous physical labor (e.g., lifting boxes).
• Must maintain a professional appearance.

Schedule

The Spa operates 12-16 hours per day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Employees must be aware that shifts may vary depending on business demands, and it may be necessary to adjust work hours or schedules as needed. Reporting to work on time for scheduled shifts is required, and availability to work weekends and holidays is essential.
