Making a Difference Awards

Once a year the Trust hosts a large awards ceremony and formal dinner where awards are presented to celebrate the outstanding achievements of individuals and teams from Team UHDB who have gone above and beyond to either directly or indirectly provide exceptional care to our patients. The Making a Difference Awards highlight the hard work, compassion and excellence of local NHS staff. They provide an opportunity for staff, patients and visitors to share feedback and say thank you to the NHS heroes who touch, save and improves lives in Derbyshire and Staffordshire. Awards are presented each month cumulating in an annual celebration evening in September which celebrates team UHDB. Every month nominations are received and reviewed by a judging panel who choose a winner for each category. Entries are judged against a criteria which is linked to our vision and values.
