Make-Up Artist Coordinator - $21.00/hr.

About the role

This is a short-term position for a specific special event and period.

Responsibilities

• Applying makeup and make-up prosthetics to actors
• Overseeing makeup application by other artists
• Ensuring that artists are within Wage & Hour compliance
• Maintaining an efficient flow of Team Members through the makeup application process

Qualifications

• At least four years of professional make-up experience
• Creative
• Able to carry 5 to 10 pounds of weight
• Able to work in crowds, heat, and cold for up to two-hour intervals at one time

Physical Requirements

• Constantly standing, talking, climbing, walking, reaching, using finger movement, grasping, feeling, speaking clearly, hearing conversation, using hearing acuity, seeing near and far, stooping, bending, kneeling
• Working in extreme heat, sun, cold, wetness, humidity and temperature change
• Working in dark areas or small places
• Exposure to smoke effects
• Exposure to lighting effects
• All lifts over 51 lbs. require help from a coworker or mechanical device
• Overtime may be required from time to time to accommodate business need
• Complete all forms sent prior to any event
