Our Make Ready Technicians are instrumental in maintaining the facility at their community and develop standards that have a positive impact on resident renewals and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Perform light maintenance tasks such as ‘trashing’ vacant apartments and removing carpet
- Perform light landscaping duties including weeding, watering, and planting flowers
- Routinely inspect and maintain buildings and property to ensure the appearance of the community is consistent with company standards and any applicable federal, state, and local laws
- Assist maintenance staff in ensuring Make Ready Units meet basic principles of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, HVVAC, carpentry, painting, and drywall, appliance, keys and locks
- Provide snow removal when needed
- Deliver high quality customer service according to GCI’s customer service principles to maximize resident retention
Requirements
- General maintenance experience and knowledge in HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and electrical preferred
- Dedication to exceeding the needs of all customers with an ability to build and maintain relationships
- Demonstrate thoroughness, self-motivation, and organization when accomplishing tasks
- Ability to work a non-traditional schedule including evenings, weekends, and on-call hours as needed
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver’s License required
