Make Ready Technician

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Removal of trash and all items left by the previous tenant.
• Repair and prepare walls, doors, wood trim, closets, and cabinets for move-in.
• Repair any glass items such as windows, medicine cabinets, light globes, mirrors.
• Ensure proper operation of stove, vent-a-hood, garbage disposal, refrigerator, dishwasher, water heater, HVAC, washer and dryer and any other appliances.
• Repair minor problems and report major problems to management.
• Ensure proper operation of all window blinds and/or shades.
• Ensure all door latches operate properly and have the proper security.
• Install weather stripping around doors and windows.
• Repair bathroom floor and wall tile when necessary.
• Re-key master locks and make keys available for leasing prior to move-in.
• Repair all leaking faucets, water pressure lines, and drain lines.
• Create and maintain a positive environment that fosters loyalty, team spirit, and unity within the company.

Education And Work Experience Requirements

• Basic writing and reading skills.
• Some plumbing, electrical, general maintenance and appliance repair knowledge.
• Previous multi-family experience requested.

• Able to work well with others as a team and take direction from supervisor.
• Commitment to exceptional customer service.
• Toolbox of minor hand tools is required.

Pay

Range: $22.00-$23.00 per hour.
