Make Ready Maintenance

Sterling Personnel, Inc. is looking for a Make Ready Maintenance for an apartment complex facility. This role is offered as an open-ended temporary opportunity that has the potential to turn into a long-term position based on business needs. FulltimeSchedule: Monday – Friday from 8 AM – 5 PM.Location: Kingsville, Tx 78364 Responsibilities: Report to the Property Manager and Lead Service technician and work with property management to prioritize and complete make-ready tasks.Monitor and report inventory needs for supplies and equipmentReplace or repair fixtures, appliances, flooring, and hardware as needed.Performs and/or assists with carpentry work, painting and plumbing duties as requiredInstalls appliances and electrical fixtures as requiredMoves appliances, with assistance, using appliance dollyInstalls, repairs and rekeys deadbolt locksReports any maintenance problemsAssists with resident functions as requiredMaintains courteous and helpful demeanor with residents, prospective residents, co-workers, vendors, etc.Complete grounds work such as grounds pick up, sweeping and light landscapingMinor pool maintenance may be requiredCompletes check lists in a timely manner to ensure units are ready for new residents move-in date Qualifications: Must have at least a minimal 3 year of Make Ready experience Must have reliable transportation and valid DLMust have strong communication skills to be able to understand and follow directionsMust have knowledge of general maintenance such as painting, plumbing, carpentry and general grounds careHVAC experience is a plus but not requiredMust be prompt, on time to work and have good, regular attendanceAvailability to work weekends while maintaining a flexible weekday scheduleBe able to pass a background check and drug screening #BBL
