Make or Buy R&D Support

The Make or Buy R&D Specialist drives R&D insourcing strategies within the Value Creation Program, consolidating Supplier Engineering Desing and Development (EDD), other engineering purchased services (PSO), and similar spending while defining insourcing roadmaps. Main Activities Provide analytical and operational support to the Make or Buy R&D Leader across all phases of the workstreamConsolidate and structure detailed R&D spending data related to EDD, PSO, and similar activitiesDevelop quantitative analyses covering FTE impacts, cost baselines, savings potential, and competency implicationsSupport the development, documentation, and comparison of Make or Buy and insourcing scenariosInterface with Finance, HR, and technical teams to validate assumptions and ensure data consistencyMaintain structured tracking of actions, milestones, and benefitsSupport preparation of reporting, dashboards, and governance material for VCP forumsEnsure documentation quality and traceability in line with VCP standards Basic Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Engineering; or related degreeMinimum 10 years of relevant professional experienceFluent in English (written and spoken)Experience in R&D, finance controlling, or transformation support rolesProven analytical capability to structure, analyze, and validate detailed cost and resource dataExperience supporting complex, multi‑stakeholder initiativesStrong skills in data analysis, modeling, and reportingAbility to support development and comparison of Make or Buy and insourcing scenariosGood understanding of interfaces between R&D, HR, and Finance Preferred Qualifications Experience in workforce analysis or cost optimization projectsExposure to VCP or similar governance‑driven programs Our Benefits — Designed With You In Mind Comprehensive Health & Well-being Coverage From your very first day, you’ll have access to medical, dental, vision, and prescription drug coverage — ensuring you and your family stay healthy and protected.
