About the role
Be a tutor, role model, and mentor at Metro Achievement Center for girls or Midtown Center for boys. Volunteer as a tutor-mentor for 2 hours once a week at our center, helping a student with their homework and goal-setting. Build a unique, one-on-one relationship with the same student.
No prior experience is necessary—tutor training is available.
Students who attend Metro self-report growth in confidence, friendship, and leadership skills. Additionally, 95% of Metro students are accepted into college prep high schools, 100% are accepted to college, and 92% graduate from college. Your support can help them achieve their potential.
