Job Duties
- Contributes to the achievement of the mission and values of Siskin Hospital
- Identifies learning needs and shares these needs in an effective, timely manner with supervisor
- Demonstrates initiative in contributing ideas for improving the efficiency/effectiveness of team/work group by taking active role in implementing performance improvement strategies
- Demonstrates willingness to meet the needs of the Hospital and workgroup by demonstrating flexibility in work assignments/schedule and assisting fellow employees whenever workload permits
- Provides for a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, and coworkers
- Maintain accurate donor records and CRM documentation
- Comply with HIPAA and healthcare fundraising regulations
- Uphold ethical fundraising standards and confidentiality
Major Gifts Strategy & Fundraising
- Develop and implement comprehensive major gift strategies aligned with hospital fundraising goals, clinical priorities, and long-term strategic plans
- Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward donors capable of making gifts at the $10,000-$50,000+ level, including capital, and planned gifts
- Create individualized cultivation and solicitation plans, including timing and messaging
- Prepare and present written gift proposals and cases for support linked to patient care impact
Donor Cultivation, Stewardship, and Engagement
- Build long-term relationships grounded in trust and donor intent
- Ensure timely acknowledgement, recognition, and fulfillment of donor intent
- Coordinate donor recognition and naming agreements per policy
Portfolio & Prospect Management
- Manage a portfolio of approximately 75-100 major gift prospects and donors
- Qualify new prospects through research, grateful patient leads, referrals, and analytics
- Schedule, conduct, and document donor interactions
- Establish annual fundraising and activity goals and track progress
Collaboration with Clinical, Executive, and Board Leadership
- Partner with executives and board members to engage donors
- Participate in joint solicitations and donor visits
Campaigns and Special Initiatives
- Support capital campaigns, grateful patient programs, and associate giving
- Coordinate donor events, tours, and recognition activities
