About the role
Vivie is a place where you can grow, do excellent work, and stay grounded in purpose. Schedules are full-time, Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm. Compensation ranges from $80,000 to $90,000 annually, based on experience, qualifications, and location.
Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a portfolio of major and legacy donors and prospects in support of Vivie’s strategic priorities in aging services.
- Work closely with Foundation leadership and internal partners to cultivate, solicit, and steward philanthropic investments.
- Identify, qualify, cultivate, solicit, and steward donors through regular in-person visits, phone calls, and digital outreach.
- Create compelling proposals, presentations, and tailored materials to clearly communicate impact and opportunity.
- Collaborate with the Executive Director of Foundation, Foundation team, and program and clinical leaders to advance strategic giving opportunities.
- Deliver personalized stewardship and recognition to ensure donors feel informed, valued, and connected to their impact.
- Support the growth and engagement of recognition societies, such as Lifetime Giving and Legacy Societies, as appropriate.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in business, leadership, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of five years of nonprofit fundraising experience, preferably in major and legacy gifts.
- Proven success meeting or exceeding annual fundraising goals.
- Experience in aging services, senior care, healthcare philanthropy, or social services.
- Familiarity with the Twin Cities philanthropic community.
- Experience using donor databases or CRM systems (e.g., Bloomerang, Raiser’s Edge).
Qualifications
- Ability to pass state mandated background checks.
- Physical capability to perform all essential job functions.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English to ensure effective communication with team members, residents, and community partners.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and donor database software.
