Maintenance Worker II - Code

Maintenance Duties

• Picks up litter and debris.
• Removes litter and illegally dumped items from the right-of-way.
• Monitors areas for illegal dumping.
• Drives truck and trailer to transport illegal dumping and equipment to worksites.
• Removes debris caused by extreme weather conditions.
• Disposes of litter and debris appropriately.
• Interacts with citizens and employees regarding problems and concerns.
• Performs additional general maintenance or grounds keeping activities as assigned.
• Performs code compliance inspections on residential, commercial, and industrial properties.
• Removes illegal signs.

Supervisory Information

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid State Class A (CDL) Driver’s License.
