Maintenance Worker - HVAC Technician

A 260-day position available immediately.

Responsibilities

• Maintains neat appearance, courteous conduct, and works amicably with all school and maintenance personnel
• Participates in additional training provided by the Board of Education
• Installs and provides general maintenance for all air-conditioning, heating and refrigeration equipment
• Works from specifications and blueprints
• Assigns and supervises helpers, apprentices and other semi-skilled workers
• Plans work schedules and places orders for necessary materials and equipment to perform work
• Provides technical advice to supervisory personnel in areas related to this field
• Possesses knowledge of materials, supplies and equipment relating to this field
• Possesses and maintains a valid South Carolina Driver's License
• Performs other related duties as required as well as all other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School diploma or high school equivalent
• Valid South Carolina Driver's License
• Five years experience with air-conditioning and heating systems
• Certificate or licensed diagnostic skill of heating and air-conditioning systems

Pay

$22.29/hour base salary (based on full time experience)
