Maintenance Worker (College Park Community Center)

Responsibilities

• Cleans and maintains Recreation facilities including cleaning windows, bathrooms, walls, offices, fitness rooms, etc.
• Operates power tools and mechanical cleaning equipment.
• Performs maintenance tasks utilizing equipment requiring some manipulative skills.
• Inspects equipment regularly to identify issues and perform preventive maintenance.
• Cleaning and maintaining facilities, including areas like restrooms, floors, offices and other shared spaces.
• Responds to maintenance requests staff, ensuring timely and efficient solutions.

Minimum Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and follow instructions.
• Some laborer experience in maintenance, construction, or repair of building equipment including the use of tools and equipment used in repairs desired.
• A valid Florida Driver License.
• Must be able to pass a Level 2 background check.

Experience In Lieu Of Degree

• Two (2) years of direct experience for an associate degree;
• Four (4) years of direct experience for a bachelor's degree;
• Six (6) years of direct experience for a master's degree;
• Nine (9) years of direct experience for a doctoral degree.
