About the Role
This operations position focuses on maintaining delivery equipment to ensure smooth and efficient fleet operations.
Responsibilities
- Fuel all delivery equipment daily and check fluid levels of power equipment.
- Assist the fleet shop and coordinate with management to prepare equipment for use.
- Wash trailers according to schedule and keep the parking lot clean.
- Support night truck spotters in organizing the truck yard.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED, with 1-3 months of related experience or training.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in small groups.
- Basic math skills and capacity to follow instructions.
- Learn to operate and back-up tractor-trailers and trucks.
Physical Skills
- Must frequently stand, walk, handle objects, reach, and communicate.
- Occasionally sit; lift/move up to 50 pounds; climb, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Visual acuity including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, and focus adjustment.
