Maintenance Utility Summary

• Perform preventative maintenance on various equipment in a safe and timely manner when directed by management
• Ensure that grounds are always neat and well maintained, by utilizing mowers, trimmers, and other appliances in a safe and effective manner as necessary and directed
• Ensure recycling efforts are consistent, on-time and handled according to the company’s environmental processes
• Ensure that all public areas, specifically restrooms, are always properly sanitized and cleaned while maintaining adequate stock of required supplies
• Regularly inspect the business grounds and building to identify maintenance needs and report to them to manager
• Actively participate in creating a positive work environment and promote teamwork
• Respond to all requests / complaints to minimize / solve problems in a timely and safe manner
• Work safely to avoid injuries and accidents, including wearing proper Personal Protective Equipment
• Follow all health, safety standards, security guidelines, policies, and initiatives

Requirements

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with many types of personalities
• Must be able to work a variety of day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts
• Must be able to work independently and complete a daily list of assigned tasks with little or no supervision
• Majority of shift will be spent on feet in a fast-paced environment
• Position involves frequent bending, twisting, squatting, and lifting to 25 lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs. occasionally
• Must be 18 years of age

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (we also accept high school seniors and juniors)
• Experience: Two (2) years facility maintenance experience
• Knowledge of safe work practices (OSHA)
