Maintenance Training Support Analyst (P-8A)
About the role
As the P-8A Maintenance Training Support Analyst, you will leverage your extensive experience supporting PMA-290 and P-8A fleet squadron aircraft maintenance operations, including preflight activities, squadron-level maintenance functions, and hands-on, on-aircraft training. You will apply your operational expertise to support maintenance readiness, strengthen training effectiveness, and ensure fleet personnel are prepared to safely and effectively maintain P-8A aircraft.
Responsibilities
- Provide subject matter expert (SME) support for I3B2 configured aircraft, coordinate with squadron maintenance controls, participate in preflight/postflight I3B2 aircraft events, and ensure operational readiness for the fleet.
- Collaborate with NAVAIR program office, PMA-290, CPRG, Operational Wings and squadrons, providing aircraft statuses and updates.
- Supervise and train personnel, set priorities, resolve technical and logistical challenges, and drive team performance.
- Process Product Quality Reports (PQDRs) to Fleet Support Team, improving technical data and enhancing mission capability.
- Travel as required to ensure timely configuration and repairs.

Requirements
- At least 4 years of aircraft maintenance experience.
- Navy Collateral Duty Inspector (CDI) certification.
- Demonstrated experience supporting P-8A Poseidon mission systems and knowledge of I3B2 or comparable systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, aerospace, or related area of study (preferred).

This position requires U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility. Selected candidate will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Location
NAS Jacksonville, FL. Work will be performed on site (no telework).
