Maintenance Technician Tradesman

Job Description

Responsibilities

• Painting
• Home remodeling
• Maintain heating and plumbing systems
• Inspect and repair alarm systems
• Perform manual repairs (e.g., fix locks, replace windows)
• Conduct pest control activities (spraying insecticide)
• General upkeep procedures
• Mow, weed eat, and trim hedges
• Preventative maintenance and repairs of equipment
• Assist in budget preparation

Requirements

• Carpentry a Must
• Physically capable of manual labor including lifting, bending, and reaching
• Positive attitude and willingness to lead and work as part of a team
• Strong work ethic and organizational skills
• Puts high value on doing a good job and self-supervisory skills
• Basic understanding of plumbing and other systems
• Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
• Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices
• Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Building maintenance technology or relevant field experience preferred
• Desired but not required: Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP)
