Maintenance Technician (Residential)

About the role

Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, clean, well-kept, healthy, and adequately supplied environment for clients and staff under the direction and supervision of the Director of Operations.

Responsibilities

• Actively involved with conserving physical assets of the facility, both administratively and residentially.
• Reviews and promptly responds to reports and recommendations as assigned and directed by Director of Operations.
• Monitors day-to-day repairs and maintenance of the facility and reports all housing issues to Director of Operations.
• Performs repairs, painting, small job installs, and other tasks on a timely basis.
• Demonstrates product knowledge of appliances and warranty information as well as damage costs.
• Accurately organizes inventory of facility supplies, equipment, and tools.
• Submits weekly supply requests to Director of Operations.

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Possesses written and verbal skills for effective communication and the ability to facilitate small group presentations and trainings
• Competent in organizational and time management skills
• Demonstrates good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Ability to effectively manage competing priorities and prioritize tasks with minimal supervision

Schedule

Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM with on-call rotation

Pay

Pay Range: $21.00–$24.00 per hour
