AZEK Company / TimberTech Wilmington division is seeking a Maintenance Tech II for their Prairie Avenue facility.
Pay
- $22–$42 per hour, depending on experience
- $2,100 sign-on bonus:
- $700 after 90 days
- $700 after 6 months
- $700 after 1 year of employment
Schedule
- D Crew: 6:45 PM to 7:00 AM
- 2/2/3 rotation
Responsibilities
- Ensure production lines and other equipment are maintained and able to run at all times with some assistance
- Show consistent desire, learning, and improvement in all maintenance responsibilities, duties, and tasks
- Assist in developing and prioritizing work orders with Maintenance Manager, Production Supervision, and Line Leads
- Complete work order requests as defined by Maintenance Manager, Production Management/Supervision, and/or Operators within the level of current abilities
- Support workplace organization programs (6S) and production efficiency programs (TPM)
- Assist operators in daily preventative maintenance (CIL) checks
- Lead preventative maintenance process on the shift within the level of current abilities
- Support in-line commissioning after maintenance/process events
- Lead and support other plant projects as needed
- Operate in a manner that provides value to the team
- Perform additional duties as needed and/or assigned by supervision/management
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED (required)
- Enrollment in advanced education and/or related certification(s) (a plus)
- Experience in a similar position (a plus)
- Computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook
- Ability to demonstrate constant learning and improvement in working with and troubleshooting:
- Electrical, Electronic, Motor Controller Drives
- Mechanical, Hydraulic, and Pneumatic Systems
- Strong background in manufacturing systems in a dynamic, fast-paced environment (a plus)
- Working knowledge of extrusion process, twin screw setup, blending system (a plus)
- Knowledge of PLC Logic technology (a plus)
- Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings or willingness to learn
- Strong decision-making, analytical skills, and proven ability to work cross-functionally
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Strong mathematical skills
- Success in planning, executing, and managing projects
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate upward and downward to a wide range of audiences
- Self-directed, motivated, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced, 24/7 manufacturing environment
- Must meet qualification and certification requirements established by TimberTech’s Training Resources and Knowledge (TRAK) program
- Enrollment in Facility Maintenance Certification course (a plus)
- Forklift experience required; ability to complete TT Forklift Certification program
- Stick and wire welding experience; structural welding certification (preferred)
