Role Overview This position supports distribution services, focusing on maintenance and operational efficiency of facility equipment and systems. Responsibilities include developing and executing preventative maintenance plans, diagnosing and repairing Material Handling Equipment (MHE), overseeing system upgrades, managing spare parts inventory, and coordinating with vendors for maintenance and contracts. The role involves supervising Maintenance Support Specialists, working split shifts, and responding to downtime events. Qualifications & Skills Candidates should have a BS in Mechanical Engineering or Facilities Management, technical vocational training, or equivalent experience. A minimum of 2-4 years in maintenance, with strong electrical and mechanical knowledge, troubleshooting skills for automated systems, CAD proficiency, and project management abilities. Excellent communication, problem-solving, organizational skills, and safety awareness are essential. Knowledge of building automation and energy conservation is preferred. Key Duties Implement preventive maintenance, diagnose and repair equipment issues, manage vendor relationships, supervise staff, and ensure safety compliance. The role requires independent operation, multi-tasking, and training others to maintain high operational standards.
