Maintenance Technician - Overlook at Sunset Point

About the role

The Service Technician role at Avanti Residential is dedicated to maintaining the appearance and operational excellence of the properties. This includes preparing units for new move-ins, addressing work orders, performing repairs, managing grounds, and responding to after-hours emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Prepare units for move-ins with electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry, and painting repairs.
• Complete work orders within 24 hours as directed by the Community Manager and/or Service Manager and report any emergency work orders in a timely manner.
• Responsible for 24-hour emergency maintenance and on-call responsibilities.
• Manage snow removal (CO, KS, UT) or hurricane preparation and cleanup (FL).
• Demonstrate strong customer service skills and maintain clear, professional communication with residents, vendors, and team members.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED.
• One to two years of relevant experience.
• OSHA, EPA, and CPO licenses/certifications preferred.
• Written, verbal, and oral communication skills.
• Knowledge of facilities management and mechanical equipment.
• Criminal background screening required prior to employment.
• Valid driver's license and up-to-date vehicle insurance required.
• Completion of the Wonderlic pre-employment assessment required.

Pay
