Maintenance Technician - Night Shift

About the role
You will perform maintenance for blow molding and injection molding manufacturing equipment to assure uninterrupted and optimal operations, execute and continuously improve preventative maintenance procedures, participate in changeovers, repair and rebuild spare parts, and ensure compliance with all safety protocols, quality standards, operational practices, and procedures. You will also expand your expertise through formal training and on-the-job experiences, including new equipment installation and equipment modification projects.
Responsibilities
- Perform, monitor, and evaluate preventative maintenance plans while continually improving equipment and processes
- Execute maintenance for blow molding and injection molding manufacturing equipment
- Continuously improve preventative maintenance procedures
- Participate in changeovers, ensuring efficient and correct execution
- Repair and rebuild spare parts
- Assure compliance with all safety protocols, quality standards, operational practices, and procedures
- Expand expertise through formal training and on-the-job experiences, including new equipment installation and equipment modification projects
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience maintaining manufacturing equipment (experience with Gem Wheel, Husky, Sidel, Palletizer, and Airveyor is preferred)
- Solid knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems, along with troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to interpret technical and operational documents, including manuals, blueprints, and schematics
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work on aerial platforms up to 20 feet with or without reasonable accommodation
Schedule
Ability to work 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM, along with overtime as needed.
Pay
$25 – $35 per hour. Higher salaries may be negotiable based on experience. Night shift includes a $0.50 shift differential.
