We have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Technician to join our company and support our York NE location. As the Maintenance Mechanic, you’ll support plant operations by performing corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance to maximize equipment reliability, safety, and uptime. It includes rapid troubleshooting to resolve equipment issues quickly and keep the facility on track to meet production goals. Responsibilities also include managing assets and documentation in the EAM/CMMS system, coordinating planned work and parts, improving PM plans, applying condition-based monitoring, and supporting reliability and continuous improvement initiatives. The role upholds strict safety and compliance standards, collaborates with operations and contractors, supports audits, and completes additional facility and maintenance duties as needed. What You’ll Do Ensure all work meets company safety standards by leading safe practices, driving risk reduction efforts, supporting incident investigationsSupport plant operations through corrective, preventative, and predictive maintenance activities.Create, modify and close work orders in CMMS along with ensuring accurate documentation of labor and parts allocationProvide maintenance support for capital projects while working with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to ensure safe, effective execution and strong communication across shifts and departmentsMaintain the condition of the plant shop and maintenance toolsLead, assist and complete grounds and facility maintenance as neededUtilize predictive maintenance tools to identify emerging equipment issues and develop, update, and train others on effective preventive maintenance plansComplete fabrication projects that enhance plant processes and improve safetyAssist in maintaining detailed equipment records and printsPlans and leads project work as needed, working with Operations to ensure maintenance activities are completed without interrupting productionMaintain Enterprise Asset Management system: ensure work order quality, PM plans, and provide user training/support, etc.Other duties as assigned Location Specific Items: Ability to work 12 hour shiftsAbility to work nights or day shift including weekendsAbility to work overtime when requiredAbility to follow safety rules and regulationsWear proper PPE required for all tasks Education High school diploma/GED. What Skills You Need Holds a valid US driver's licenseAbility to adapt to changing prioritiesProficient in basic computer skillsPossess basic mechanical aptitude with the ability to learn, understand, and apply mechanical conceptsDemonstrates problem solving, teamwork and communication skills Physical Job Requirements Stand and sit for extended periodsWork both outdoors and indoors in hot, cold, wet, and dry conditionsLift up to 60 lbs.Perform work that involves repetitive motion and/or repetitive liftingExposure to dust and plant allergens including but not limited to corn, sunflower, cotton, and canola pollen and protein and sorghum as well as potential mold spores and/or chemicals in the course of your duties Reasonable accommodations will be considered in accordance with applicable laws to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the role.
