Responsibilities
- Works closely with the Operations teams to maintain PECNA equipment
- Checks settings, gauge readings, Human Machine Interface (HMI), and sensors regularly to keep machines operating at specifications
- Performs regular preventative maintenance per documented requirements (e.g., cleaning, lubricating shafts, bearings, gears)
- Tightens bolts, inspects belts/chains for wear and tension, changes belts, filters, and other replaceable parts as needed
- Greases or lubricates fittings, joints, unions, and motors as required
- Cleans, organizes, inventories, stocks, and maintains shop and production areas, parts, tools, and supplies in a 6S environment
- Operates and maintains tools and equipment in assigned areas
- Able to work all scheduled shifts
- Performs basic troubleshooting to replace worn or broken parts
- Conducts visual and audible observations to detect abnormalities and schedule repairs
- Examines machine parts to detect wear and imperfections
- Uses hand/power tools, electric meters, measuring devices, and material handling equipment
- Identifies faulty operations and defective material; escalates issues to supervisors
- Reads PLC ladder logic
- Identifies causes of unexpected breakdowns and actively works to eliminate them
- Assists in developing new Standard Work when required
Qualifications
- 2+ years of relevant maintenance or technical work experience
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, flexible environment and learn new tools and concepts quickly
- Successful completion of Ramsay mechanical or electrical aptitude assessment
- Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
- Basic mathematical skills and ability to perform standard calculations
- Adaptable, collaborative, and communicative team player with strong problem-solving skills
- Willingness to receive guidance and contribute to a team-oriented culture
