Maintenance Technician III
About the role
The Maintenance Technician is integral to meeting this objective, with responsibility for maintaining the overall physical condition of the community and providing world-class service to our valued residents.
Responsibilities
- Oversees one or more assets and supervise general maintenance engineers and technicians.
- Serves as a point of contact for property maintenance issues, including HVAC, mechanical, electrical, utilities, and lighting systems.
- Diagnoses maintenance issues, makes necessary repairs, and ensures all resident service requests and other community maintenance are completed in a timely manner.
- Controls inventory of parts and equipment.
- Covers all Maintenance related/contractor activities.
- Ensures the successful execution of all company safety and environmental policies and procedures.
- Delivers the highest level of resident satisfaction through responsive, consistent, positive, and professional interactions.
- Works a rotating on-call schedule to have 24/7 maintenance coverage.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 7 years of maintenance experience with no certifications or 4 years’ experience with EPA 608 Universal required.
- Approved designations or degree/license/certification(s) in at least one of the following: HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Appliance Repair Certification or Carpentry.
- Demonstrated strong customer service skills.
- Advanced knowledge in at least one of the following disciplines: electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry.
- Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong time management skills.
- Ability to train on skill trades.
- Valid, state-issued driver’s license with a safe driving record is required.
Qualifications

Pay
The Pay Rate is $29.00/hr. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
