Maintenance Technician II (The Williams Center)

Join a team of technicians supporting the day-to-day maintenance and operation of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems that keep our headquarters building running safely and efficiently. Each day begins with a team huddle to align on priorities, coordinate work activities, and reinforce our safety-first culture. In addition to performing routine maintenance and system inspections, you'll respond to tenant requests with professionalism, helping ensure a productive and comfortable workplace. Through collaboration with experienced team members, you'll gain exposure to advanced building systems and tools while continuing to develop your technical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Operate, maintain, and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other related equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation
  • Respond to tenant requests courteously and efficiently; report unresolved issues to leaders
  • Take regular readings on equipment, analyze data, and make necessary adjustments
  • Maintain and operate chillers, boilers, cooling towers, and related equipment
  • Troubleshoot and repair building fire and energy management systems
  • Inspect and test elevators, fire pumps, generators, carbon monoxide sensors, and other facility equipment
  • Perform monthly tests on fire pumps and generators, and inspect elevators for code compliance
  • Calibrate carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide sensors
  • Inspect and repair window washing equipment
  • Solve routine and some non-routine technical problems
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Mechanical journeyman license with the State of Oklahoma OR a State Boiler Operator license and a first class limited Engineer’s license
  • EPA refrigerant certification
  • Valid State Driver’s License and clean driving record
  • Two-year degree from Vocational/Technical/Business school or high school diploma/GED with equivalent experience
  • Minimum of three years of experience in the HVAC industry, including installation, repair, or maintenance
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and PC skills
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, with safety as the utmost priority

Physical and Environmental Work Requirements

  • Ability to work in extreme temperatures, loud noises, and enclosed spaces
  • Carry or lift items up to 50 lbs., and team lift loads exceeding 50 lbs. as needed
  • Stand, walk, climb, bend, stoop, and squat for long periods
  • Work at elevated levels using man lifts, ladders, scaffolding, or small towers with appropriate PPE
  • Use hand tools

Schedule

  • Must be willing to work after hours, on-call rotations, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Examples of rotating shifts:
    • Weekends: 7pm – 7am and Thurs. & Fri. 3pm – 11pm
    • Weekends: 7am – 7pm and Mon. & Tues. 3pm – 11pm
    • Mon. – Fri.: 7am – 3pm, 3pm – 11pm, 11pm – 7am
  • May be required to work overtime

This role includes work performed within a facility regulated by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). Successful completion of a background investigation conducted through the FDIC is required as a condition for obtaining an additional access badge. Additional screening measures may also apply.
