About the Role

The Neighbor Service Technician II is responsible for efficiently performing all general maintenance tasks, including service requests and turnover functions, to maintain and preserve the Neighborhood and provide a quality living environment for Neighbors.

Responsibilities

  • Prioritize customer service to ensure Neighbors feel at home, well-cared for, and proud to live in our Neighborhoods.
  • Complete all phases of apartment turnovers in a timely manner.
  • Troubleshoot and repair major and minor mechanical systems, including appliances, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, and painting.
  • Assist Neighbors with basic maintenance needs.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
  • Minimum of two years' experience and/or training in apartment maintenance.
  • Availability for on-call services.
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English (or other primary workplace languages) for safety and customer service.
  • Basic computer proficiency and understanding of building materials and tools.

Physical Demands

  • Requires standing, climbing, balancing, sitting, walking, and repetitive motions.
  • Most work tasks are performed outdoors in moderate temperatures.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.

Pay

Compensation Pay Range: $31.00 to $32.25 per hour.

  • Discretionary Semi-Annual Bonus Plan.
